Authentic education is an idea being developed by a group of parents, teachers, ex-teachers, business people and citizens who are concerned that our current education system is not adequately equipping children for the challenges of life in these fast changing times. Authentic education is about preparing children for
adulthood in a way that focuses upon bringing out, encouraging and celebrating
their individual brilliance. Authentic education focuses on developing
each child's skills and confidence in their unique talents so that they
emerge from school with the deep self knowledge and self esteem required
