Authenticity, both for individuals and for organisations is about the journey of getting to know who you truly are and being it without fear or compromise, at all times and in all circumstances. Authenticity means removing the tension between who you are and what you do. True happiness is available to every single one of us. We really can have our cake and eat it, in work, in love, in wealth, in health, at home and in our relationships. Life's Purpose The foundation of all of my work is the individuals life purpose or core motivation. This is something we all know innately, although it may be hidden under years of conditioning. I have helped well over 1000 people to articulate their life's purpose and I can help you too. When we are pursuing our positive purpose we are passionate, motivated and at our brilliant best. Others inspired by our passion and our purpose want to support us helping us to succeed. Not only that but the happier we are and the more we are pursuing our true purpose in life the more positive our effect on those around us and on the environment that sustains us. The greatest contribution we can make to our own lives, to our family, to our community, to our business, to our country and to our planet is to evolve our own authenticity. Collectively, authenticity can lead to a fully functional society that does not take decisions that harm life on Earth. Living authentically means that you consciously pursue your own life's purpose, using your innate talents, rather than being sucked in to the purposes of others. It can lead to improved happiness, health and fulfillment. Authenticity and the 'real' world Authenticity works. People and organisations pursuing their authentic path are more motivated, focused and energised than others. They find it easier to take decisions and are more committed to what they are doing. It is only our conditioning that leads us to believe that being authentic and exposing our true selves is somehow risky or unacceptable. For many of us, our education and upbringing conditioned us to conform rather than encouraging us to explore our individual brilliance. Authentic Transformation Authentic Transformation is an "attraction based" form of transformation (unlike the more common "crisis based" form). Authentic Transformation is about creating your most attractive possible vision of the future, removing any barriers to achieving it, building your confidence and allowing the vision to happen. Is it time for you to explore your individual brilliance?
"Does life ever feel like a meaningless treadmill? Does it feel as if you have reached the edge of our cultural map? Do you feel that there must be more to life but not know where to find it? Neil Crofts - Seven Stages of Authenticity

How authenticity helps the world Virtually all of the problems we face as a society are the consequence of human decisions. For the most part people take decisions believing they are for the best, so how do we end up taking decisions that do so much damage? People take decisions that cause damage because the frames of reference they use are too narrow. For example a very typical decision making process has a single frame of reference "will it save me (or earn me more) money?" and even that is qualified in the short term. When we are authentic we learn to trust and use our intuition. I believe that our intuition is the wisdom of our evolution encoded in our DNA. When we can trust and use our intuition alongside the rational data in decision making we cannot take decisions that would jepordise our evolution. When enough people are authentic there will be a dramatically positive shift in the way our society works, because we will be taking decisions that support evolution. It is only by supporting evolution that we will be sustainable. "In the struggle for survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals because they succeed in adapting themselves best to their environment." Charles Darwin Man's destiny was to conquer and rule the world, and this is what he's done--almost. He hasn't quite made it, and it looks as though this may be his undoing. The problem is that man's conquest of the world has itself devastated the world. And in spite of all the mastery we've attained, we don't have enough mastery to stop devastating the world--or to repair the devastation we've already wrought. We've poured our poisons into the world as though it were a bottomless pit--and we go on gobbling them up. It's hard to imaging how the world could survive another century of this abuse, but nobody's really doing anything about it. It's a problem our children will have to solve, or their children.
